Re: Procharger Be Cool Help please

I had similar problems installing a custom rad with my 12-rib Procharger setup. You can do what I did and modify the top outlet on the rad using an aluminum 90 degree elbow installed at a slight upward angle. Requires welding and a pressure test though. I picked up a length of aluminum radiator tubing from Evans Cooling but you could likely source it from anywhere.

Good luck.

Re: Procharger Be Cool Help please

wow your engine looks good, i decided to cut the thick flanges where the radiator support hooks up to also do a 90 degree turn on the outlet so i can fit 12 rib down the road. thanks for help i will post pics for others that will have this problem when done.

Wow! Nice setup you have there. I've been seriously considering a D1SC for my 400, but I'm still in the research stage. I never even thought of radiator interference. I'm running a 31x19 Griffin rad. on mine, and I'm wondering if I'll see the same issues....

Re: Procharger Be Cool Help please*update*

I shaved the radiator supports so the radiator would tuck under the radiator support and gave the radiator out a 90 degree turn. i have tons of clearence now. Started the car up and i noticed i had a blown head gasket, the drama continues..
