Would an old 3.1 turbo intake be an upgrade over the mpfi on an iron head turbo 3.4 or could it be used with the alum. heads .You can see I don't know much about interch. between fwd and rwd.

 

im assuming u ar talkinmg about a 3100 manifold.no it will not work on a rwd engine using the iron heads.it will work if u swap over the the gen 2 aluminum heads,except u would be better off going right to a gen 3 topend 3100/3400 sfi stuff
