BOOSTING UP TWIN TURBO
1986 CHEVY CAMARO IROC-Z NOT TBI OR TPI ITS CONVERTED TO CARBURETOR ALSO ITS TWIN TURBO.
I WANT TO BOOST 10 PSI OF BOOST< I KNOW THAT THE MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER BRINGS UP THE BOOST WHEN YOU ADJUST IT, MY QUESTIONS ARE
1.DO YOU NEED TWO MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER FOR EACH TURBOCHARGER???
2.WHEN ADJUSTING THE BOOST CONTROLLER DO YOU NEED TO SET ONE TURBO TO 5 PSI AND THE OTHER 5 PSI TO GET 10 PSI OF BOOST????

No, you tee both turbo wastegate lines together to only one boost controller. The turbos will both equally boost like this, otherwise you would have one create more than the other and leak the boost out the one that is working less and create problems. Just tee them together like i did.
hope that helps some.

No, boost per turbo does not stack.
They will both make boost until they hit the desired boost level, then both wastegates will open at the same time.

so your saying each turbo has 10 or they both just open at the same time cause the external wastegate vacuum are connected together with a tee right ?

I dont think you understand how the boost is created. Wastegates open when manifold pressure reaches the desired level.
If you had twin turbo's and you set wastegate (A) to open at 10psi and wastegate (B) to open at 2 psi. Turbo (A) will keep trying to make boost until it reaches 10psi. Turbo (B) will stop making boost at 2psi and keep venting exhuast gas to bring the boost back down to 2psi.
If you set turbo (A) to 5psi, and turbo (B) to 5psi, both turbo's will stop making boost when manifold pressure reaches 5psi. Boost does not "stack"
The reason for using 1 manual boost controller is that if you use 2 boost controllers, it makes things difficult, and this is why:
The boost controllers are not 100% accurate. So what happens is you set both of them to around 10psi, one of them may be at 10.2psi, the other may be at 10.7. What will happen is one turbo will keep making boost until 10.7 while the other will be releasing excessive exhaust pressure trying to keep the boost at 10.2.
It is easier just to have 1 boost controller Tee'd to both wastegates so they will open at the exact same time.
I hope this makes sense.
