fuel and tuning for TT setup

I am new to the thirdgen world, coming from Ls1's this is a little different. I am planning on building a camaro with a 400 small block and twin 66's on about 17#. I would like to go fuel injected but I have no idea if these stock computer can be tuned to handle 96# injectors? has anyone done this? How did you do it and was it a pain in the ***? I am hoping for around 800rwhp through a t56.

Maybe there is a better way today..Ive been out of the loop for a while...BUT #96 injectors will be low impedence... your factory ecm would be set for high impedence injectors... So what you do is get an ACCELL VIC...variable Injector Controller.. it plugs into the stock ECM and allows you to run low impedence injectors..

My advice would be to buy an aftermarket ecu.. A lot less hassle. but it can be done either way..

Yeah, the Megasquirt II is VERY easy to implement for a small block chevy ignition and use small block chevy sensors. For a setup like that a Vic-E intake would probably be a good bet, then run HEI maybe a 6AL box or the likes and let the MS do your timing as well.

have you ever heard of the mass airflow translator? you should look into it.. for about 500 dollars you can delete your mass airflow delete your rear 02 sensors, control your boost... all kinds of good stuff, i highly recommend you look into it.. thats what im using on my TT 350!

I dono but can a LS1 PCM be moded for low Imp. Inj? if so Id look into that swap. If your use to LSx stuff and already do your own tuning you could stick with what you know. EFI live, etc..

MegaSquirt is sopost to be a nice setup also.
Holly 950 commander also..
