Intercooler mounting and the airdam
I just got done fabbing up some brackets to mounts a big 4" thick intercooler. I mounted it on the front bumper support and it leaves a little over and inch gap between the airdam and the intercooler. Anyone have experience to know if this leave enough room to shoot air up and cool the radiator? Ill get some pics this evening.

i mounted mine aprrox 3 inches more foward then were u mounted urs.
mine also hangs a lil lower then urs.even without the airdam on the car i havent had any cooling issues.
the only thing i did do to help with cooling a bit was to make a plate to cover were the airbox used to sit so the air wouldnt blow up and over the intercooler and radiator

I have my intercooler mounted almost exactly the same way. My car still cools fine and the intercooler never gets hot across the whole core. Even after a full boost pass. So i beleive there is plenty of airflow to the intercooler. Looks nice

This one being 4" thick I couldnt more it up any further without cutting into the bumber. I even had to modify the hooh latch. With the brace under it, its still very solid and having a light fiberglass hood helps. Still need to pull it back apart form mockup and clean up. I picked up a TBI plastic piece that will cover all this anyways.
