procharger parts
I just bought a p600b procharger off my friend he had in his 86 mustang for about 3000 miles and then took it out. I now have all the parts that came from his mustang but obvisouly it wont fit my camaro. Does anyone know where i can get procharger parts reasonably cheap, like the bracket and the tubing? Or does anyone have these parts they want to sell?
Also has anyone heard anything bad happening to this supercharger if they fall apart easy or need seals rather quickly?

I know it's not cheap or used, but ProCharger sells the parts individually if you want to go that route. The bracket would run you about $295 - $320, the tube set would be about $350, the crank pulley $155 - $235, blower pulley $85 - $105.

procharger seems to be the best of the best in centrifigul superchargers and with only 3000 miles on it, it should be fine. you dont have to run an intercooler, but i wouldnt reconmend running higher boot levels i would say 6-8lbs max, also depending on your engine mods and tuning is what could limit how much boost you can safely run. dont forget to upgrade the fuel system. if you didnt want to run an intercooler set up you could always run a methanol injection set up to cool the charge.

Yes, you can run without an innercooler. However, if your particular blower is rated for, lets say, 50% more horsepower, half of the added power is from the boost itself and the other half is from the innercooler. The supercharger heats the incomming air about 10 degrees for every pound of boost. The innercooler does alot for the amount of added power from a blower.
I have a P600B that I am rebuilding right now. I removed it with 160K miles on it because the bearings were getting stiff enough to ruin belts in about a week. It still felt smooth and I had no leaks. It just didn't spin really freely.
I see individual brackets and pulleys come up on ebay alot so that might be a good source for you.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Steve
