N2O and stock pump
I am wanting to do a nitrous set-up,but want to make sure that the stock electric pump I have will be sufficient enough. I pulled out the old TBI 305 and dropped in a carbed 350,but left in the electric pump and added a Mallory regulator putting about 6-6.25 lbs of pressure to my carb. At WOT the pressure stays about the same, fluctuating at the most of maybe 1/4 lb. Will this be good enough for around 100-125 shot with nothing to worry about? Also, isn't there a safety switch in case my pressure drops below a certain level? I want to take every precaution possible,as this is a NEW,un-rebuilt motor with only about 1200 miles on it.My wife says I spent too much(to her anyway) just for a motor,so she'd kick my @$$ if I walked back home and handed her a piece of my piston skirt from a blown motor. So I'd appreciate any and all comments.Thanx guys.

As long as your pump keeps a miniumm of 5psi through out the RPM range it will be fine. NOS makes a fuel pressure safety switch and it is a very good investment in my opion. It's part number is NOS-15750 and cost only about $36. Cheap insurance.
