Good way to hide nitrous?
Has anyone found a good way to hide nitrous? If i get it i'll be using a TB plate kit. I I don't see how you could hide the plate without a lot of "customizing," but you could hide the bottle. Where do you guys put yours? Is there a way to make it look stock? Just wondering, thanks guys.

You can paint or polish the plate to match the rest of the intake. As far as lines go... try running them under the plenum or close to wires so you can put some wire loom over them and no one will be the wiser. As far as hiding the solenoids, i think they fit under the plenum, i am not sure. Covering them with a stock looking cover would be an easy method... the sky is the limit.

It's not too hard...but once they see the bottle, it's all over

if you just use wire looms and just to have everything crammed under some wires or other crap then it can be somewhat hidden and the average hot rodder wont notice, but the real street racers and others can see a NOS kit in a second

Here's my future plans(as of now at least):
Hook up the N02. Make it look neat but don't even try to hide it.
Put your bottle with a remote opener where the spare tire/jack go.
Get another bottle and mount it in the rear trunk well or on top behind the rear seats. Run a nice steel braided line from this "dummy" bottle to and under the plastic interior panel. Make it long and tight enough that if someone tugs it it will seemed hooked up.
Then, it goes like this. "Ok, we'll go motor to motor" and you unhook the bottle while everyone watches. Get in the car, open the REAL bottle with the remote opener and you're done.

A fogger system can be hidden under the intake in the lifter valley, with the nozzles going into the runner from underneith the intake. A plate system can be hidden, with some creative line bending, under a carb heat shield. Solenoids and all. I've seen some where the a plate system was used, and the lines ran with a wire loom over them back to the firewall. Inside the heater box was the solenoids. This made the initial hit a lot softer, and helped not blow the tires off, like the "hidden under the shield idea" might have.

you want the ultimate hidden n20 system do ya?
i did one once
PITA but i was paid good
---was a dry kit, i hid the solenoids in the ac/heater box
ran the n2o line through one of the a/c lines up to a non stock condenser
drilled through the condenser to route the n2o line over the radiator and under the MAF
this is a street raced car and has been on the street for over a year and no one has known
bottle is hidden in trunk and since the n2o line is sooo long it hits soft and you cant really notice it

No one would see the second bottle. Anyone who's been around for awhile will want you to disconnect the solenoids up front anyway. There are plenty of people who aren't wouldn't suspect. Besides, to win you need to do alot more then hide your N02 on the street but I won't go into tactics.

Wow, Alex, that's a really neat and clean install; is it yours? Did you do the work or a professional shop? Cost? *G*
