got most of the fabrication done on the IC tubing
today i got the blower tubing fabricated, and assembled some minor stuff on the motor at the same time........it really wasn't all that difficult, or at least not as bad as i thought it would be.
i also made a new longer jack screw to tighten the belt, because the ati supplied one is about 2" too short for the belt i need, and they claim they don't have longer ones.......so i had to bust out the lathe again.......now i just have to finish weld everything and get it all powdercoated......
all thats left to do now is wire up the wideband controller, install the crank bolt, tighten everything up, put the exhaust back on, put the nose back on, and the driveshaft, tighten the spark plugs, install the powersteering reservoir, and the alky injection......and a few other odds and ends lol.....nothing to it
first pics are of the blower to IC pipe.....including the bypass flange.
oh ya, and i cut a small hole in the hood for the blower cog, and i think it needs to be bigger.

Huh, it seems that you could have saved yourself some bends by feeding the blower outlet across the front of the engine to the passenger side of the intercooler and then running the outlet from the IC to the carb hat on the driver’s side… I hate tight 90’s in plumbing if I can avoid them

Question - Why did you put the BOV so close to the blower? Wouldn't it be more "efficient" being closer to the bonnet?

That is awsome looking! Way to go. I'm running into the same problem with my install and now it's good to have a reference to go back to.
Thanks.
