I see that many superchargers go for around 3 grand, if ur looking for somethign large , and they add about 100 hp.
Now, i am wondering what is the biggest supercahrger you can put in my car, adding the most power of any ssupercharger available on the market??

Amrish,
It's mostly a personal preference, both ATI and Vortech make quailty superchargers, the Paxtons seem to be the luck of the draw, either you get a good one or you don't!!!
I have the procharger D1sc and it fits very nicely and provides me with about an extra 100 hp, running at 10#'s boost w/ 3-core intercooler on a stock 350

I also run a D1SC, same as Maniacc but on a 305. What's interesting is that I have gained slightly over two seconds with it (14.07 vs. 12.05) with 10 pounds of boost. Understand that my engine was built with supercharging in mind.... It is far from stock. In addition, I've done several things "differently" than convention calls for.
Based on an old rule of thumb that states that it takes 10 horsepower to gain 0.1 seconds, that's a 200 horsepower increase on my car!!

Former Paxton (6-psig) with 50-hp nitrous: 12.043 @ 112.86 mph.
ATI D1SC (10-psig): 12.056 @ 116.62 mph.
All stats are altitude corrected for 3,100 feet using NHRA's Altitude Correction Table.

WOW! I must have done something right then. Because I too have gained nearly 2 seconds from my stock time of 16.29 and I'm now at 14.42. And everything I've done to the car is in my sig.
{edit} I do realize that it's harder to go faster when you are faster. (i.e. going from 17's to 15's is much easier than going from 11's to 9's)
