Where did you buy your superchargers???

I cannot take it anymore, the inefficiency of natural aspiration is driving me crazy, and I cannot get the thought of forced induction out of my mind. I have to buy a supercharger, the louder the whine and longer the life the better. The only problem is I am reading about all you guys awesome systems and cannot find a place to buy them anywhere, especially ATIs. Where did you guys get them and how much did you pay for them, I was hopping to spend about 3000 for the complete job (including upgrading weak 305 injectors). Any links in the right direction would be great.
BTW anyone selling their systems?

It sure is a good feeling to be blown....

I bought my D1SC with three-core intercooler from David Back of Tenacious Performance. I have personally met Dave and he's a very honest guy who believes in customer support after the sale. But to top this off, I got the best price from him. E-mail him at dback@tenperf.com or visit his website:

I bought mine from a Vortech dealer in Indianapolis. He was very helpful and knowledgable.

His business is Superchargers Plus.

I think Excessive Motorsports has good prices. I bought mine used, but after looking at A LOT of used/overpriced junk. I finally found someone I could trust and that seemed very knowledgeable about supercharges. It turned out to be a great deal all considered. He threw in many extras including parts I needed for the serpentine conversion. He is also my new tech guy! Anyway. I would go that route, but you have to be VERY patient to find the right one from the right person. You'll end up spending $2000 for a good kit and $500 in extras, whereas a new kit is $3,500 plus $500 in extras, and that's if you do it ALL yourself. My charger was used on a drag only car, so it has probably only a couple of hundred miles on it w/ the little road use it saw. It turned out to work great and besides, the kit had been modifyed and many of the parts were upgraded over the crap they give you when you buy it new. I got all braided hoses, HKS race bypass, 2 pulleys, better T-clamps, custom cold air ducting, balanced crank pulley, tools that were needed amoungst other stuff. He was truely a great person to deal w/ and very generous. But like I said, be careful. Goodluck.

UVA3rdgen,

I purchased my ATI D1sc from http://www.performancess.com

It was $3800.00 for the kit w/ the polished blower and 3-core intercooler and was well worth the money!!!

If you have any mechanical skills and a handful of tools you can do it yourself as i did, to have a shop do it for you, i would guess it would cost around $500 to $700 in labor

The injectors cost about $240.00 a set, and can be a pain in the a$$ to change

later

Why are the injectors a pain to change? Will they not fit on my fuel rail with the factory clips? I would diffinitely install it myself, my car has only seen a shop when it got painted and whenever I had to change the alingment after messing with the weight-jacks.
