Procharger install recomendations?
Ok so I got the goods today. So from reading other past posts it seems that the Prochargers not the bolt on item that we are lead to believe. So I was hoping for some suggestions on what to look out for on the install from some of you experienced folks. Common problems and what not with parts in the kit. I forked out for P1SC.
Gotta love that five foot box it came in. Sheew!

I found with mine that the two pipes that go vertically thru the fender area into the engine bay area I need to cut about 2" off of to get it to fit the way I wanted. Mine came out of a camaro and tucked in fine, however, the birds have more of a taper to the bottom front of the fenders.
I fiddled around a bunch trying to get mine to fit as they came however, cutting them really solved the fit issue.
Good luck, You will love it once it is in!

if the instructions are still screwed up as they have been in the last few years, make sure to look at the parts before cutting anything. The instructions used to tell you to cut the factory fuel return line to install the FMU. People would cut them and then realize the kit (and not the instructions) had been updated with plug and play factory style fuel fittings.

I just finished installing my procharger about 3 months ago. So far I am very satisfied with the product. The only problems I had with my kit was the surge valve hose wasn't quite long enough and the intercooler piping that goes directly out of the supercharger and down through the fenderwell was not the right piece(so I used a 3 inch exhaust pipe). Also when you are done installing the unit you will want to check the blower to crank pulley alignment (especially if you don't have the stock pulleys on your car). If you find that you need to shim this then I would suggest that you shim the entire blower mounting bracket. Also I ended up using a shorter belt I believe the number was (K080653). Anyway hope this helps
