Small shot with Big Shot system
Can I use "safe" NOS Big Shot system on stock 305 chevy engine?
I'm not crazy I think about 100 hp shot but Big Shot is designed to work in 200-400 hp range.
Solenoids are big and feed line is 6AN so it will work well with small jets.
What You think ?

It is possible that it would work, if You get the right size jets. The fuel solenoid is the same as the 'Cheater' systems fuel solenoid, only the nitrous solenoid is bigger. The big difference is the spray-bars, they have smaller holes, but more of them, and this is why the Big Shot
makes more power. The jetting for the smaller settings is the same as the Cheater jetting, but the BigShot makes more power with the same jetting. So if You have jets for a 100HP in The Cheater/ SuperPowershot plate, it will add more
with the BigShot plate. I would put the jets in and just test the system when it is removed from the engine, and watch for the proper spray pattern and 'fogging' from the plate. If it looks OK, then I think
it will work, just keep in mind that it will
be more power than the same jetting makes in the other plates. If You have a good tune, 125HP will be OK for a stock 305, if Your fuel system can handle it, and have proper timing retard etc....
Use the Shell 100-gas, which works out to about a 96 octane in US rating.

Single Fogger nozzle with 50 hp jets connected to Big Shot solenoids should work correct , right ?

On the biger plates thay do not work properly with a small shot I have tried it on my systems and talked to the nos tech when I had proublems thay told me it would not work. Put big jets back in system and woked flawlessly.
