749 ECU tuning questions
Hey guys
Getting there with my project so i need to know a couple things.
If the stock wastegates are somewhere around 6-7 psi I can tune and burn a chip for that.
If i then turn up the boost, is that chip going to be able to handle more boost by itself or with minimal tweaking? Or will i have to setup an almost completely differnet chip?
And then...to go the other way. Say i have the chip dialed in for 12 psi, can i then reduce the boost for cruising and the chip will be able to act just the same?
thanks

Just need one chip. What you will have to do is get the chip dialed in for the ranges of boost you will be running. I'd highly suggest reading up on prom burning 749 in particular and just start absorbing tge info.
