D1 in 600B bracket?

D1 in 600B bracket?

I always thought that I would need a new bracket if I found a D1 unit. But after seeing this picture I'm not sure anymore, It looks like my 600B bracket.

Can Anyone confirme that I can or can not use my 600B bracket for a D1 Unit.

The pict shows a D1sch unit but It should be the same a a D1 or?

NOPE, you can't do it. Totaly different blower and mounting. I just did the same thing. And a D1-SC is different also, but a D1-SC and F-1 are the same.

Why is it so hard to find a used blower any hint where to find one? My 600B is not up fot the task to feed my new engine.....

So a D1 and D1sch use diff.brackets?

Now I am going to make you sick, I bought mine used on ebay for $1125. I sent it to ati for a checkout and it and a new seal $135.00 later its back home. Grand total, $1260.00! There are some good deals out there but you are taking a chance thats for sure.
A p600 and a D-1 don't look the same? plus the pulleys and step up ratio is different.

I know they are diffrent but how about D1 vs D1sch? and do I need a reverse rotation or std?

Looking at Ebay 2 times everyday!

A D-1 and D1-SC are totaly different. They make a D1-SC bracket for third gens so i would look for one of them. I was looking for the step up of the D-1 so that is what i went looking for.

Do I need a reverse or std. rotation unit? and can you tell what kind it is by its nbr?

you need a standard rotation. If you find a used one get the serial number off it and call ATI.

I was watching that also get the serial number off of it and make sure it is not a reverse rotation. he doesn't have enough pictures to see what it is. When you call ATI they will also be able to give you the history of it.

Found a used D1R/D1X mounts in 600B bracket, atleast on LT1's...

Could it be something worth having?

How is the boost MAP on D1 vs D1sch vs D1R?

Car is a street car and and dont think I want a peak boost MAP...
