Those are some fairly large turbos!I read that Mike Moran has a new car that has already gone 6.0's and he's planning to be the first in the 5's but it looks like it may be a race now!

True, Mike Moran could be in the 5's first, but it won't be a legal record. He's already gone 236mph, and 239mph which is outstanding, however the rules for the class dictate a certain cubic inch limit and also there is a weight limit for the class which he was under on both

glad to see annette is still racing. i haven't seen or heard a peep out of those guys since the nmca/nsca super series back in 02'. i think that whole body on that car is carbon fiber...just like her last few cars.

2500+hp out of that car...or a calloway...hmmmm

not a really hard decision.

Lol it does launch pretty crazy. I just like it b/c I can hear the turbo spool as I cruise, it's quiet, and suprisingly it's pretty comfortable. It's a 1992 Eclipse GSX AWD. 5-speed with a limited slip rear diff. I got the awesome setup as far as DSMs go, a 6 bolt block, 4 bolt rear, 14B turbo, and limited slip rear. Not as fast as the TA but it is sure fun as hell to drive

92's best year, year before the "crank walk" issue began. AWD is the only way to go with those cars FWD just sucks period.

I know quite a bit about DSM's I would say almost as much as 3rdgens, very easy to make them run 13's can run 12's on the stock turbo if the person knows how to tune, and thats what 90% of dsm owners suck at LOL.

a great car and about as much power/price ratio as a thirdgen.

I know if I were to run dedicated drag car Id definately do the turbo route. I had seen a little of the older version of Annettes vette on tv, still pretty impressive, even though im not much of a hardcore drag racing person.

Moran's a little late: http://www.mitchstott.com/598/index.php. While Mitch Stott already lays claim to the the first doorslammer in the 5's, it wasn't at legal ProMod weight.
