I've seen the T-76 turbo and its pretty big, is there any other turbos that are bigger?

yes, there are MANY turbos that are bigger, some of the largest variants i would imagine being used on big ships, large dumps, etc.

Wow thats huge, Ok whats the largest turbo that would fit into a third gen?

 

• how big of a motor can you shove in a thirdgen?
• how much do you want to cut?
• any objection to having a turbo waaaay oversize for the motor?

im suprised no one posted the pic of the guy standing next to the 5' turbo... (yes five foot)

 

I'm just looking for a large turbo that could run off say a 350 sbc and push as much hp as possible so i could run with the TT guys with a single turbo. I found Holset has some huge turbos for diesel engines and they could probably be used on a 350

 

you know, there is a large diff between sizing/choosing the turbo for your motor/app and asking what the largest turbo is.

anyturbo could work since it has to be fabbed in anyway....
you just need a appropriate one for your engine.

Really, it doesn’t look to be that big a turbo…

To be honest, I don't know that much about the setup, though I'm pretty certain I got the original link from this board, maybe the owner or someone who knows about it will turn up (search the archives?)…
