wanting to build my motor....
I'm planning on building my 350TPI this summer out of my 1988 IROC-Z. I want to have a supercharger AND nitrous on it. The only problem I have is how I should build it? Money is not gonna be an issue but I'm not gonna have someone else build it for me. I do want to keep a stock looking TPI setup. Also, what kind of compression should I run in it and how much boost, and how much nitrous? What injectors should I run and what kind of cam?
I've been kinda looking at getting a Vortech V2-SQ for it but I'm not sure. Any info would help a lot. Thanks guys

buy a 4340 forged bottom end, pro action or dart iron eagles, run around 8.5:1 compression, and get an ATI d1 or d1sc run 12 psi, and 75-100 shot of nitrous... as far as injectors it depends... id say use the FMU that comes with the blower, and around 24-30lb injectors (completely depends on rest of motor), you will have to have a custom chip burned

If money isn't an option why waste your money on a set of Iron Eagles? Its a tuff one because the TPI is going to be a huge limiting factor of your motor... Is the "stock look" really worth the huge performance loss? You won't be fooling anyone with a blower AND nitrous under the hood so why bother? If money isn't an option and it was my decision I'd go with a 4340 forged rotating assembly, blower pistons (8.5:1 or so), Dart Pro 1 200cc's or AFR 195cc's (both with further port work), custom roller cam (contact cam motion or comp cams or whatever and tell them your specs / plans / goals they'll steer you in the right direction), Blower of your choice pushing like 10psi with an intercooler then spray like a 50 shot on top of that. For induction atleast consider a Miniram or Superram, the TPI will seriously gag a motor like this.
With a combo similar to this and a cam selected for maximum power you should be able to make an asinine amount of power but expect to sign over a blank check to your engine builder cause I wouldnt even wanna think of how much something like this could cost ya. Of course, there are easier, cheaper, and slightly less reliable ways of achieving the same HP.
