question about eaton M90
I'm in the process of planning my project and I was wondering if the eaton M90 putting out about 10psi of boost would be sufficent on a 350 with converted LT1 intake to put out around 350hp and 400tq. Not looking for anything outrages just a nice street car with some attitude.
Thanks,
Mark

The best I have heard of a single M90 push is 10 psi on a 5.0L Ford. It, however is far from stock and overdriven. My setup with twin stock M90's, varied between 12 and 14 psi, on a mostly stock 305 with TPI.
If your looking at reworking a LT1 intake, see rooster433's setup using a M112. A better choice if you only want to run a single. BW

Well I read up on what rooster433 did and that's not exactly what I was planning on. To be honest I was thinking of doing something along the lines of your setup only minus an M90 and an LT1 intake instead of the TPI. Main reason I was going to use an M90 and not the M112 was because the M90 is so much easier to find .
So by the numbers from your dual M90 setup it looks like I would only be able to get around 6-7psi from a single M90....sound right? Just trying to get everything laid out before I attempt it. Would it be that much harder to get 2 M90's under the hood of a firebird than it would to just do a single M112? I would assume so.
One more thing. Assuming I had a MAF sensor that actually flowed enough would that be easier then a MAP setup to get all worked out?

That's what I was figuring. Guess if I'm going to SC the 350 I'll have to keep a close eye out for an M112 on ebay. Thanks for all the info. You'll probably be seeing around at a later date if all goes well.

try looking for eaton, and then taking away the diffs and whatever else clutters the search...
if you try looking for M112, or lightning blower, or cobra supercharger or somthing like that, you dont get as many hits and you'll miss alot..
searching the harder way generally gives you items that less people find.... and that can make the price cheaper.
