Roughly 305 horses from a '92 L03 305

Is that feasible for this ****ing throttle body piece of ****?

Yeah, I'm gonna be getting a '92 RS Camaro in a few months. I'm really trying to decide whether or not to keep the 305 or just get a 350. Anyone have any suggestions about what exactly I should do if I decide to work with the 305 instead? Muchas Gracias.

Get the 350. I got a L03 in my 90 RS Drift Car. Its a really junk motor. At first I thought it was cool, but after messing with it for a while, I think it sucks. I bought a L98 for $700 and I'll be swapping it in soon (working on body now). I could have spent the $700 on mods for the L03, but it still wouldnt have had as much power as the stock L98. I know because I've done it. The L98 will be a better base for your project allowing you to make real power later on. You get more cubes and a better intake setup. That means more bang for the buck when you do mods. Remember now, the L03 is around 175hp/220tq where the L98 is around 240hp/330tq.

The L03 for that year had 170 horses and 255 lb. feet of torque. Makes me mad that Chevy didn't make this engine real formidable. Anyway, the L98 is the 5.7L engine for that year?

Since your car is HITHERE 92, you would want HITHERE Speed Density L98 from 91-92 car with VSS. They came in earlier years but will require modification to work with your guage cluster. Be aware you might need the 730 ECM from the donor car as well. Good luck!!

Car: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS; 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Brougham
Engine: LH0 3.1 Liter V6; YBN 2.8 Liter V6
Transmission: TH-700-R4; TH-440
Yeah, you'll need a different computer module. The one the car has in there now (with the L03) is for Throttle Body Injection, not Multi Port Fuel Injection (AKA Tuned Port Injection in cases of the L98). The later V6 F-Bodies with fuel injection use the same computer module as the L98's, simply because they share the same injection system (minus Tuned Port Runners in the V6). The only difference in the V6 and L98's computer is the fact that they run different PROMs because they are different engines. By the way, the L98 is the 5.7 Liter fastest engine for that year.

Well, right now I drive a '88 GMC Suburban that has a TBI 350 in it. I'm thinking about swapping the 350 and 305 whenever I get the Camaro. Will that ECM work in the Camaro? This is probably what I'm gonna end up doing and I'm not exactly sure what all I'll need to replace with the computer **** and what not.
