Ecu for Twin Turbo apps?
Like many people that visit this board, I am interested in attempting a twin turbo buildup sometime in the future. My question here is what type of ECM system are most people here running for a typical EFI setup? Although I know that there really is no "typical" EFI setup on a custom fabbed TT setup, I am sure there are many setups out there that are favorites of you guys.
I have researched a little bit on this subject, but searches on this board seem to be to broad for the subjects I have tried. I know Haltech, Accel and Edelbrock are some brands out there that offer aftermarket ECU's. Question is, which one is primarily preferred by you guys for TT setup. Thanks for the input.

FAST is probably the most popular aftermarket engine management system used by custom forced induction guys. The new Accel DFI Gen 7 (+) is also commonly used.

I use FAST as well but I see a lot of people using the 7730 (if you want to keep a factory type of ECU). A recent revolution seems to be people taking the syclone/typhoon ECM and converting it for V8 usage as it can read boost and manage that way. ALtough it will limit you to 50# high impedance injectors. I think you can purchase a variable injector controller to run low impedance injectors as well. I have no specifics though but it should help to point you in the right direction.
I love my FAST system but it isnt cheap by any stretch .
Good lucK!

The $58 code has two different ways of wiring the injectors. How you wire it will determine whether your using one or both drivers.
The SyTY calibration works off one injector driver and is why the 730 can be interchanged with a 749 in this application.
The 730 is limited by having one injector driver, therefore it will only run Sat (high) injectors.
The 749 in stock form, has two injector drivers and can run 4 P/H injectors. This is how it is implemented in the Sunbird Turbo.
The SyTY group have upgraded the FETs in their 749's and some are running 6 72lb P/H injectors with an upgraded and repinned to Sunbird stlye 749. Also the ECM1 fuse needs changed from 10 amp to 15. I have info that it will also handle 8 P/H injectors. I am currently gathering the gear up to independently verify this.
Also available is a 3 bar capable bin version for the $58. The code has been completly hacked and supported. The SyTy crowd have it worked out fairly well.
Now this may not be exactly what you would like, just tossing the info out.

I picked up a cheap ACCEL 6.0 setup. They can be found pretty cheap since most are upgrading.
