4.030 X 3.14 X 3.75 = What am i missing here?

4.030 X 3.14 X 3.75 = What am i missing here?
A little math question.
I do 4.030 X (3.14) X 3.48 I get 44.03 cubic inches for 1 cylinder in a 355 sbc. i do that X 8 i get 352, NOT 355 cubic inches. whats going on?

3.14 x ( (4.030 / 2 ) * (4.030 / 2) ) * 3.48 * 8 = 354.93512496
that is pretty close to 355, and since pi is really a hair larger than 3.14 it would probably work out even closer to 355.
