Will Sniper solenoids support a 175 shot.....or even more??

well i have the option to buy a new sniper kit for 180 bucks....problem is is that it only comes with the jets for up to a 150 shot.... i want to throw more at my motor.... i know i can go buy the jets for any shot i want... but will the solenoids support the 175 shot?..or are they rated no higher than the 150?

The sniper solenoids are really small so I wouldn't go too much more than 150. You could probably get away with 175 jets but not the 200's. The kit is definitely worth 180.00. I use this kit and have had good luck with it.

would i be seeing the full potential of the 175 shot though?? my motor can probly handle a 200 shot every now and then, but ill be happy with a consistant 175 shot for bracket racing.... if it wont be up to its full potential then maybe i should look at a differant kit??.....but then again id hate to pass up a 180 buck kit!

If you are going to race it and be using it for consistency I'd get the bigger kit. You could buy the kit and use everything except for the solenoids. Just sell the small sniper ones on ebay and buy some cheater solenoids from ebay. That would still keep it fairly cheap for a kit.

the biggest the orafice in the sniper or powershot selenoids have in the nitrous side is a .085 with works out to about 175.

Yes, you can jet these kits higher, but no the solinoids will not keep the flow up. I have the Super Power Shot kit and I believe the solinoids are the same. My kit made very little difference and even ran worse with the over jetting.
