N20, How much shot can I run safely??
I've got a GM Goodwrench 350 (12k miles on it) , dished pistons, aluminum Pro Lightning heads 64cc, will have around 9.3:1 compression. Also, Comp 268xe cam.
How much can I safely run for now?? I was thinking a 100 shot.. Next yr I plan on stroking the motor with different pistons, and raising the compression a little.
Any recommendations on what to get?? This won't happen till spring at the earliest anyways.

Nitrous Express Hitman plate system...adjustable from 100-200 horsepower and can be upgraded at a later time to go up to 300 horse shot. With your bottom end (pistons mainly) I would go no higher than a 150 shot..but stay safe and go with a 100 shot. You can get the kit for around $360 in Jeg's.I am very happy with this sytem on my Z.

for a 305 or a Goodwreck 350 a 100 hp shot is a safe bet. you could run more on either, but its about pushing your luck.

I'd like to go to a 125 shot. The engine is original and has 77k miles on it

The IAC may need adjusting if the car is shutting off like that.Just another idea...had that problem in my T/A and adjusting that fixed it.On the n2o issue..had a friend that would spray a 150-175 shot on his stock L98 with 180,000 plus miles..when he replaced the motor with his new 355 it still ran strong..consistent 13's on the motor...NOSFEDGTA.Psycho yeah..but he did it.Your iroc with 77,000 can easily go 125-150 shot.

That's good to know. Is there somewhere I can go to find out which jets to put in? It's an NOS system...I'll check out Holleys website.
By adjusting the IAC do you mean setting the minimum air? I'll give it a whirl. The poor car is just sitting across the street
