BB chevy Paxton? DEAL? pic!
We got this paxton on hand a dealer wants to sell used
Paxton Novi 2000, EO D-195-13, SN N 05 664.
can we run this on a super ram after mods?
we would make brackets if the bb style donīt fit!

Guido....aka Curt mailed us, thanks for the fastet response!
this is what we mailed him back:
Hallo Curt !
Well to be honset we hate BB over here too expensive and itīs rare to get hipo parts!
I would put it on a small block!
Never looked into chargers such much , cause i still think a motown or olds sblock goold build pumps out enough power!
The sec think space, as there is only a recaro spg in the car and now (in works a tom huggins style cage) some "pipes"!
The turbo mania in the us makes me laugh cause we have overcome this porsche hype in germany for a long time!
To the Novi:
1. what is so sprecial about the novi....only the bearings?
2. is paxton still selling parts?
3. any idea what this novi brings "extra"?
4. us price is around 2400 dollar right?
again thanks for the fast response!

Funny that this would pop up now I'm in the process of fitting a novi 2000 in my bird now. Check out the post elsewhere on the board. The picture is a NOVI 2000 with a rear discharge. Capable of about 1700 cfm. The SN should be a serial number, I'm unsure of the other number, I'll take a look at mine hopefully tomorrow and maybe we can compare notes.
As for the bracket I dont know what it could be from, Paxton to my knowledge hasn't made a bracket for anything other than Ford and Chrysler. Could be a custom bracket. In any case you would have to fab up a bracket for your application. Not too hard with a little planning. I finally got my hands on a digital camera so I'll be getting pictures up of what I have real soon. What I have so far is the blower mounted up to a wooden bracket. Still needs a little refining as to fitment but it's almost there. Working on the pulley routing now. Probably just going to replace one of my dual fans with a low profile aftermarket one. The fan motor is the only thing in the way of making it wide open.
Now I've got a question for you In your picture, is that belt tensioner bolted directly on to the housing? I've been trying to decide on a way to use an automatic tensioner and that just might be a breakthrough for me I may need to call paxton.

Hello thanks for all emails we received from members!
B4Ctom and Curt already helped us on the charger topic!
this is our answer to B4cTom:
Hello
again thanks for the info!!!
iīll search old post later on today about efi use and chargers!
as stated in my post on third gen i am a fan of "real" motors(natural aspi)
1. get a motown with efi , dump the novi to someone who loves it!
2. use a LS1 i got stored in our club and put the novi on that!?
3. use a 350 tpi with supperram i got also stored and put the novi on that?
again its no problem for us to make brackets!
mario
i received some mails , stating they would like to be involved!
i told the i would asked you to post into the thread so everybody intressted can follow the topic!
I am sorry that this novi only makes me happy for 70 % of happy BOOST, if the flight charges of 1000 dollars ( NY to Berlin Germany)for a motown would
be cheaper i would dump the novi....LOL!
any LS1 /Novi owners pls response!
sr ,tpi /noviīs pls toooooo!!
we are really intressted in the HP results!!!!

I would definitely get with Mark, check his post: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=115870 if you are putting this on a TPI car you could do it his way.
