For anyone who has added a carbed 350 or 383 to increase performance, what mpg do u get and what do u run in the quarter? thanks alot

Well, I can help with half. I put in the engine listed below and the mpg is about 7mpg. I haven't had it to the track yet.

 

My 385 gets around 10-12 mpg.

I ran the time in the signature below with 150hp NOS three years ago, and 13.3 at 108 on the motor. I've fiddled and tuned it (haven't run it yet), but should be good for 12.5 at 113 (or so).

I average about 12 city, 22 highway (still using factory computer and carb), so it isn't too bad at all. I'm sure if I went to injection it would add 2 or 3 mpg easy.
