I haven't been around for ages, I just bought a house and all. Anyway, I'm looking for a shortblock, or someone sho can build me one cheap in NY. I would like to rebuild and reuse what I have already. I really want to get the GTA back up and running, it ran great w/ the Vortech, but didn't last long. Justin, Good to see you back. I thought you had dropped off the face of the earth! How much you looking to spend on the short block? And did you blow the motor, or you just have some rod knock? I believe the last time we spoke, you had what sounded like rod knock. You may be able to throw a new set of rod amd main bearings in it, and get her back on the road. You may want to consider a set of dished pistons while you are at it. Just a thought. Shoot me an e-mail sometime!

Don, just the person I was looking for! Great to hear from you. I think I may be able to throw a new set of bearings and pistons in, and new pistons of coarse. I'll be pulling the motor soon. I never got around to it, because of getting a house and all, but I'm gonna pull it apart this weekend. I'm going to shoot you an email now, not sure if you'll get it, I'm at work.
