Procharged Fastburn 385
Hello all, I am looking for a little help in getting my car up and running. I am installing a fastburn 385 with a 12# procharger in my 87 Z, and need a little preventative insight into the combo. I was planning on running 30# accels with the kit supplied fmu in conjunction with my dfi system. I really don't know what to expect as far as power output, so I am a little unsure if I am in the right ball park for fuel supply. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Gausy,
If you have the DFI setup, ditch the fmu, and go with a larger injector. You can pick up a set of Ford Lightning injectors for fairly cheap, they are 42#/hr units. If you are set on the idea of running the fmu, and 30#/hr injectors, save yourself some money and get the ford motorsport 30#ers. I would also recomend a Walboro 255 intank pump.

You may also want to keep an eye on this post, it may have some valuable info in it for you. 89Procharged is a very good source of information! He has a lot of insight, and I have yet to see him steer anyone in the wrong direction!

Thanks for the reply BlownBird, I am willing to upgrade to 42# injectors if that is the easiest way to go. The only reason I might have leaned toward the 30# injectors is that I already bought them, but I am not willing to compramise at this point so I think I will do the change. Can you recommend a decently priced intank pump.By the way, are accel injectors crappy or something, or are the svo's just cheaper.
Thanks.
Thanks.
