should I upgrade to D-1sc?
some of you may or may not have seen the 91z I have obtained with the P1sc. I have agonized over upgrading to the D-1sc for the engine is I believe still too large (412 cid). after seing how a 383 recently reacted to a s-trim even with the bigger pullies (more boost) I dont want to buy a whole different blower and brackets unless it is absolutely. I dont want to use a head unit that is so big that the car has to hacked or something. I have the 3 core intercooler option. the D-1sc seemed the reasonable choice because for like $1000 bucks you send in the p1sc and they change it over for you and they use same bracket and all. but when I look at the two models they seem statistically to not have a major difference. I wonder about the F-1(sc) I was told the bolt pattern on the front is similar, but the gearcase is longer/deeper. maybe it can be used with less of the spacer provided.

I called ATI less than a day or two ago and they told me they wont upgrade from to a D1SC, cause I have a D1B and they told me no I would have to pay $2700 for a whole new D1SC setup. If you heard something different let me know.

you will have to excuse me because I am un familiar with the D-1B is it what they now call just a regular D-1? my P-1sc and the D-1sc share the main critical components so they said they will convert it.
