I'd say stop trying to polish a turd, and save for a 350. Even with N20, you're still going to be slow. Not too mention it's not the safest form of power.

Maybe he doesn't want a 350..
It's called doing the best with what you have.
Why even respond when you didn't have any answer for him?
And yes, there are nitrous setups for the 2.8 V6.
The Nitrous Express 20920 kit will work fine... I wouldn't reccommend anything over 75 hp for your application though.

Bottling up isn't cheap. Do you have a good cam? Forged pistons? The ability to tune the car perfectly? I would think dollar for dollar the 350 would be the way to go and the gas milage wouldn't be that bad either. Carb n2o kits are easy to install but tuning is a whole seperate issue, wet system with fogger nozzles are a better bet than the dry stuff but with a 2.8 I'd keep it simple.

Course I would save for a TTA motor.
Why even respond to my comment, when you could just answer his. Yeesh.

I think its pretty sad when we have reached a time when every little ***** wanna be has a 35, 50, or 75 hp shot on his little tired 1.5 liter honda (or insert many other imports here) and we tell some guy with a 2.8 to forget about it? I say get the NX #20920. use the 35 or 50 jets regularly, and the 75 when you are really confident and have high octane fuel in the tank and save the 100 and up hp jets for if you do want to install a V8 someday (or put them in at the track just before you dump the V6 so you can "dump" the V6 with some glorious timeslips.

*blower picture with varajet top* I have a TBI top.
My s10 2.8 has the following.
4.10 gears , holley 400cfm tbi , sbc 1.6 roller tip rockers , 2030 cam , edelbrock headers , msd 6al , blaster coil , Nos tbi nitrous kit , 11mm moroso wires , optima battery , black magic fan , harwood glass hood , zexel torsen posi , toms axles , edelbrock valve covers , custom cold air , underdrive pullies , 40 series delta flow , dual friction clutch, world class t-5.
I have in my possesion a fageol 2.8 blower supercharger , huge lazer roller cam , Paw forged rebuild kit .060 , 4340 sbc rods machined , custom indy racing shaft rockers and si 172 , 155 valves . Also headman true dual 1 1/2 headers ceramic coated and a custom ecm.
In about a month or two I will have a .060 2.8 blown with 14psi (solicor just introduced head gaskets for turboed/blown 2.8's) 125 hit of Nitrous, a roller cam with 650+ lift , a commander 950 ecm lap top controlled , indy shaft rockers , 8000 rpm redline , forged internals
You can get this blower for your varajet f-body and bolt it on about 1300 bucks for a brand new kit. http://614streets.com/Fageol.html
I can twist 13's now but just wait till its yanked and rubbed down with love and psi. Also adding a haltech 3rd injector and 670 cfm tbi.
Always use synthetic motor on a 2.8 , its the best line of defense.
If I was you Id get the huff.
Heres my other project , gonna have old don hampton sandwich a intercooler on it and put lotsa giggle juice in her too.

hey 614
where didya get that blower though???
and mark,
as for civics im faster than them with my 2.8 unless its really modded or has a VTEC in it ...even sometimes VTECs lose 'cos of a ****ty driver inside who doesnt know crap..
(i think its much better driving a 2.8 F BODY than driving a 1.6l civic with a pipe and a clear tails and get beaten by just about everything that moves)
so a 2.8 isnt all that bad...
grrr..i bid on ebay on an Nitrous Express Wet kit and lost ...now im lookin for one cheap...
