Don't know the service number on this unit, but I am looking for an engine computer from an 89 V6 car, the engine being a 2.8 V6 WITHOUT cold start injection. I would also prefer to have the PROM still in the ECM, as I need these two parts to try and get rid of my cold start problems.

I have plenty of parts to trade. I have V6 A/C lines left, a cruise control modulator and computer box, 85-89 Firebird instrument cluster cover trim, and other parts I can't list right now...

 

I might have one from an 86 or 87. Would either of those work?

Sorry man, but I already have one from an 86/87 and its not working the way I need it to. I most likely need a PROM from an 89 to get the job done...

So the lowest price on here is $50... I could go to a junkyard and get one for cheaper, if there was one in a junkyard closer to me than 100 miles away... I don't need the whole ECM here, just the PROM...

find out what the service number is on the ecm, I have a complete ecm and NEW GM prom from an 89 RS v-8
if they interchange $30 will get you the whole ecm, and chip!

 

Sorry, hotrod85z. The ECM needs to be a 302 from an 89 V6 car...
