How does that TQ arm mount attach to the rear end?

 

It's welded.

Whats the lowest you'll go on the u joint?

 

(1) Incorrect. It bolts to 3 cylindrical mounts that are welded to the housing (steel tubes). If you were building your own F-body 9-inch, you'd need to weld the mounts to the housing. This bracket would bolt to the mounts and would accommodate the torque arm. See attached pic I snagged from Moser's site.

(2) $35 shipped unless I still have it in 2 months. As of now, it's been for sale for an hour, so the price stays where it is.

Nah. I paid $50 with shipping. I'll have my warehouse guy at work ship it for me along with work stuff and it won't cost me anything for shipping anyway. The whole $35 will go in my pocket. It'd cost you $10 in gas and tolls to drive here and back from Northbrook anyway.
