Happy Hooker!!! (Not what you think perv)
Lol. I have a Happy Hooker engine puller that i dont need any longer. It was bought from TPIS a few years ago and is in excellent shape. It is made to bolt the TPI/LT1/4 Barrel Intake. On the TPI and Lt1 it used the fuel rail bolts and makes it very easy to pull an engine. It is also drilled tp pull carb motors by bolting it to the intake in the 4 carb holes. It sells for $49.99 at TPIS right now but I will sell it for $35 shipped if any one wants it. Pic is from TPIS but looks exactly like it............jt
This is what TPIS says about it.
Happy Hooker
We originally designed the Happy Hooker to take the motor out of our 1994 Camaro 406 HP car.
The factory procedure is to put the car up on the hoist and remove the entire front suspension, which means brake lines as well all the accessories. Well, at the races with our World Challenge car we don't have time to take the whole front suspension out of the car.
So we came up with the Happy Hooker. Now the motor comes out in half the time -- you don't even have to take the hood off the car. Because the Hooker pivots at its base the motor is much easier to maneuver in the engine compartment.
While we were at it we drilled the Hooker with some popular patterns -- Holly, Q-jet, as well as TPI manifolds and our Mini-Ram.
