do i need any special tools or anythign to put this in or is it jus tlike putting in any other posi? How many miles on it? Is it noisey? can i use this in my stock 10 bolt rear? do i need special gears or will my 3.42's work?

well, ya just need series 3 gears. its like putting in any other posi, no its not noisey, about 30K on it, and it will work in a 10 bolt with 28 spline axles. i got one bearing off, then my tool broke, so ya just need to remove the other bearing, install new ones and go. (as you should replace carrier bearings before ya put them in on a used one.

i was lookin at these on summit and the only one they have on there is for a series 4 ....what is that? and is this a series 4?

I have a thirdgen posi rear end that came factory with 3.23s and the auburn limited slip...will the fourth gen posi you have accept my 3.42's for a 7 5/8s ??
