Ill give you $350 for them right now.

Some guy offered 800 to end the auction early
and I told him that I would rather wait until after the auction...

Sorry man, there is not a chance in hell that
I would take a 600 dollar loss on a set of wheels I only bought last summer

Take that 350 and buy yourself a set of rims, send 'em out to get reconditioned, and after you've dropped 800 - 1000
dollars into the rims with shipping and all
let me know so I can slap your face with a BULL**** offer like the one you just gave me

you see, I am not pressed to sell these wheels, altough I would like to, I have another set I would like to buy

If need be I will just buy the new ones and sit on these for a few years until people are paying way more for them

800, i could buy aftermarket rims in 17 inches for that , no way stockers are worth that much . How about 500 maybe 550 since their in nice condition.

Exactly right, 350.00-400.00 for above average gta style wheels is the going rate................ 450.00-550.00 for like new as these are.

Good luck with the sale, FYI you might want to try a GN Board, those guys are always hunting for these wheels as they only came on the GTX GN I believe.

GN = Grand National, Thirdgen wheels will bolt to a Grand National (Buick Regal) and the GTX (I believe if it have it right) came with Black GTA style wheels, therefore you might have better luck trying to sell these wheels on a GN board

BTW, if that was the going rate then why couldn't I find a set last year for less than $750 in excellent condition

Seeing how I hunted the net day after day for about 3 or 4 weeks before I finally shelled out over 900 bucks for these.......

You can buy these brand new thru one of the restoration houses for $600 for a complete set. How are yours better than brand new?

Good luck, I hope you find somebody that doesn't shop around

By the way, before you tear into me, notice i didn't mention which one as I didn,t want to completely kill any chance you had at selling these wheels. If I did, anybody looking for these would get them for $600 and they would be brand new.

Look it up in a year one next generation catalog, page 146

Black GTA wheel set (4)--- complete set $603

Whos the jackass, the guy that paid way too much for his wheels or the guy trying to sell used wheels for more than a brand new set?

Well, let's see, I just went to www.yearone.com on the chance that you might be right and I only found the rear, no listing for the the front, hmmm, I believe it was part number...

GS43 - 16" x 8" rear AFTERMARKET

The best part they want $286.00 for just one of these

hmmm, times 4 (assuming the fronts are the same price)
equals $1144.00

JACKASS

BTW... did I mention these wheels come with 2 WS6 center caps and all of the lug covers??

Also, I looked on www.wheelcollision.com
they have these wheels listed at $240 for each front and $185 for each rear

that's $850 without lug covers or center caps...

NOTMUCH..........manners/brains/personality whatsoever...

First off, like the above posts, going market rate is less than YOU are asking. The wheels are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. If you find someone that will pay you too much for them, than i am happy for you. You came off way to strong to anyone that MIGHT have been interested in these. If i was even in the market for them, i wouldnt buy from you regarless of price just on the basis of your bad manners. Blowing up at someone's offers is rediculous. AND notmuch was just refferencing a price he got from a book. He happens to hook people up and not try to rip them off like you are doing... So look elsewhere to sell, because anyone here wont pay that price and your manners just shut your own sale.

Actually part number GS43 is $160 ea. in the catalog. Part number GS44 is a full set of wheels for $603. And unless you find someone that is doing a really expensive restoration, 2 rear aftermarket wheels that are identical to the originals isn't going to matter much.

I was only trying to help you price your wheels at a price that would sell. I don't know anybody that would pay more for a used product than for an identical new one. You immediatly had to go to name calling and acting incredibly immature. The only reason you are calling people names on here is because you know you didn't shop around enough when you bought them and got screwed. I'm sorry for that, I never like to see anyone get screwed even if they called me a jackass. Take some advice from people here instead of calling names, that may aid you in selling your wheels.

Good luck, Jeff

In such case, I apologize to you and NOTMUCH

however the idea was not to try and force a sale onto some ignorant buyer

I've been ripped off before and would not impose on someone else that way

I worked my tail off to afford these wheels as the next person would

if someone doesn't like the price, well then, their hard earned money stays in THEIR pocket.

If they can find a better deal then good for them , I'm all about it

but "ridiculous" is to come onto my thread throwing out bs to try and undermine my sale by offering less than half of the asking price or saying that I'm WAY overpriced

THAT's rude

You may think high but it's less than I paid out and less than the other 2 places mentioned earlier

I would be willing to come down on the price a little but not for some wiseguy offering $350

for you who can find a better deal, bless you
for you who can't , well , the wheels are VERY nice and have been meticulously maintained during the 4 or 5 months I've actually driven the car with them on it

Sorry to have offended any of you....
