parts for sale (broken powerdyne)
I have a broken powerdyne for sale. I will sell it as is. I think it may make a good core as a trade in but, as it stands it needs new bearings, output cog and an internal belt. (if you are real good with things you could get away with bearings and a belt
I have a crank pulley and spacer for a tpi vortech kit (cost me over 50.00 from vortech)
I have a powerdyne lt1 intake elbow (the one that goes right to the throttle body)
I have old paxton intake tubes (ones that make an "S") they look kinda odd and scratched up but, are still very good and would take little to clean up.
I also have the brackets I had made. and I also have the blower pulley (started out as a vortech pulley 3.60" I turned the ends down to match the standard powerdyne spacing) little dented up but, worked fine.
I am willing to sell this all as one kit this maybe a super cheap alternative to some one looking for some extra HP. (you can pick up the powerdyne blowers on e-bay for under 700.00 rebuilt and ready to go)
other wise the rebuild kits run about 120.00 for the bearings and belt (I never checked on the output shaft cog price but, you may beable to fix this blower for even less)
make offers I don't need this anymore

ok, I think I got everyone covered. if not just let me know.
I live in south east WI incase any one would rather just pick it up. I will ship but, you know. picking things like this up is better. get to see the stuff and get a reall good Idea how it fits
here is a link for how it looks inside http://www.geocities.com/mrprogs/Belts.html
just look under bd-11 rebuild it is identical
ok, here is a post i found that tells waht impeller speed is it's max and how you figure it out..
Formula:
lower pulley dia. / upper pulley dia. x rpm x blower ratio = impeller speed
Data:
Powerdyne BD-11A: 42,000 rpm max, 3.05:1 ratio, 6.5" lower pulley.
With 2.50" upper pulley at 5300 eng rpms = 42,029 impeller speed. I think it is doable and within limits if I govern the engine at 5300 rpms, which should be after my peak hp.
I will sell all of it for 250.00 you pick up or pay shipping . I just want the money to cover the pulley spacer , vacume valve, paxton bends and powerdyne elbow. stuff the blower is not worth much the way it sits
