Turbo drivetrain
I have a built 4.1 bored .030. Everything--at the time--was great, but it's been sitting for a few yrs. Has custom ground cam from Duttweiler(no cam card), 8 to 1 pistons, high volume oil pump.
Has new rebuilt trans w/all b+m internals--around 2800-3400 stall speed tq in it. Motor was built to go into a GN--was built to run high 9's low 10's.
Motor will most likely have to be gone through as it's been sitting for awhile. Motor comes w/o heads and intake--but trans is complete. Driveshaft is stuck-so it'll have to be yanked out(don't think there's damage to it tho)it's a 200r4 w/the brf valve body in it(rare). It's in an 84 turbo T-type car that's basically just something to hold it in--was a rare car too! Designer Series paint w/factory moonroof.
Looking to sell for best offer or interesting 3rd gen trade.
I'm in PA(Bushkill)so it would have to be local.
Let me know.

Car: 1987 Iroc Convertible

3.8 to 4.1
Buick made a 4.1L 252 that utilizes the same crankshaft. Just tap the front of the block for an oil return for the turbo and you are ready for an intercooled setup....Much cheaper than the 109 3.8 blocks. Tony you have been sitting on that motor for years why sell now?

I asked is this a roller camshaft block. The other part was just about you only having 1 post in several years.

....
The 3.8 gn engine and the 4.1 engine never had rollers from the factory. The roller cams for these motors are all aftermarket. As for the posts I haven't done much fbody stuff lately but the classifieds...its been mostly turbo buicks.

I remember reading that the TTA was supposed to have a roller cam, so that's not the case I guess, bummer. Whats the best turbo buick forum's or list or whatever for good info? I've been around the GN's just a bit like header's, chips, fuel pumps, intercooler's and turbo's but dont know sheit about the 3.8 or 4.1 really and now I am going to get on a fast Buick learning curve.
