My review of the Bridgestone Potenza RE730 tires

I know a while back some of you guys were talking about buying a set of them. Well I hadn't tried them in the rain yet so I couldn't give you a full review. Well today it is pouring down rain going home from school so I put my tires to the test

Their traction on wet pavement is excellent, almost like its not even wet at all. Their resistance to hydroplanning is also very good. Even at high speeds (70+) there was barely a hint of hydroplanning. Once the water got deep in the puddles (about an inch or so) they would slow the car down a little, but not move it to the sides like my old tires did. I would say they are very good tires for up in Washington because of all the rain we get, and would recommend them to anyone.

Cool, glad you like em! It raining today, but, I havent went out and tested my Kumhos to much, but when it rained the first time I went and tested braking and I was really surprised. My Toyo Proxe Z1s I could light up in the rain at 45-50 BEFORE the heads! SO, it will be interesting to see how well these do. So far, Im very happy with my $86 purchase

Yeah, I got the Potenza RE910 245/50R16s on my car and I love 'em! They handle great in rain, although I haven't had a chance to test them in snow yet.

Bridgestone makes a great product! I had a set of PSO2's on my vett and WOW...like peanutbutter on the roof of your mouth! However, I plan to put the Nitto 555r's on the rear in the spring.
