7th Annual Racewars in Royal City WA. Heads up grudge style Drag Racing at a private airtstrip. Choose your opponent line up and race! Hundreds of cars and spectators! We will also be having a DJ playing music and different food vendors. So come out and be part of one of the biggest car events in Grant County. Everything from 9sec racecars to bolt-on daily drivers. Several shops and well known tuners around the area will be there. If you like cars and racing or you just like meeting new people and hanging out this is the place to be! If we get enough cars to sign up we might have a 16 car shootout $100 buy in!

Well if I can get the l98 and T56 in on time then make the drive up here from az I should be there, gotta do some body work while I'm down there too, new fender and front clip so it'll be a mash up of colors by then lol yaaay primer

haha no im not driving for just the race, im moving back to port orchard since i was discharged from the Army, so AZ isnt really my place anymore my wife moved back here after i shipped out and we've decided to stay, its alot nicer without it being 115* on average lol

 

Puttin the new injectors in my B4C this weekend...think Im gonna head to Royal City and check it out, maybe race a buddys Mustang. Anybody know about fees or rules? Need helmets and all the safety stuff???

 

helmets are a good thing to take. rules are jsut heads up car vs car anything can fly. they have most of all the saftey stuff needed. i think fees depends on how many people show and what kind of racing u want to do.

 

port orchard is still a good drive.

i'm down finally shut my cousin up saying that his 300zx can take my cammy, how is a car that weighs a little less yet has 80 hp and a crap load of torque less win?

 

what year 300zx? is it turbo?

 

1987, and no, its only a naturally aspirated 3.0 v6 completely stock with a 5 speed, I've driven it, and it definitely doesn't pull as hard as my car

 

oh its the gay 300's yeah those ones suck, i had a buddy in college who would sit there and talk crap about how his 300 was so fast, i had to work on it one day and so i had to drive it to verify i fixed it, it has NO torque, and NO hp at all lol i took him for a spin in my camaro and he almost crapped himself lol except my other friend oliver brought in his 240SX, full khouki conversion, twin turbo SR20DET and he made me feel like a puss lol i took him to lunch a day before and burnt out leaving a huge tire streak on the main road and started making fun of him for driving his 240 like a grandma, so the next day we took his car, he started smoking the tires before we hit the road, drifted onto the road and burnt out a good 300 feet then let off to save his tires i just sat there feeling retarded

some of the imports are awesome and sadly to say fast than us, REAL imports, not FWD crap, like 240's with SR swaps, RX7's, Supras etc its always fun to just go against them for the hell of it though

 

i had a 240sx with a redtop sr20det it was a awsome drift car! i built/raced a rx7 in high school, i built the rotary and ran high boost, 650bhp, i was thinkin of doing the 2jzgte supra swap in my camaro.

ive been thinkin about it. i actually could get my hands on a complete set up. fully forged 2jz bottom end with a built head mean hks cams and and if i remember its a gt47 turbo. and the 6speed only thing i would need is harness ecu and fuel set up. and some massive tuning and maybe a powerglide

ive seen it in a first gen but never in a third. the only problem is it cost more then a ls1 swap.

and aslong as ur car is not falling apart or going to come apart while racing u can run it, and its 20$ to race ur car. if u think ur fast u can enter the better class for 100$ and all the money entered goes to the winner of that class. they said right now its just a top 16 but it can change, there will be concession stands food and drinks and music.

I would have gone, but just found out my firebird has the "death wobble," and the frame where the steering box mounts is all cracked and busted.

 

too bad ur not in the tri-cities i could fix that easy..

still running the t5- 91sbc 350 with the 416 heads machined with 194's mild cam and some tuning.. maybe some spray if i get the chance to install it.. the only problem is my lsd is having problems so i might tear into that tonight and see whats going on.

i am going to sell this set up after autocross on the 28th of this month and start a ls1 build
