Fast Times at Summit Point ....
.... this past week-end. The SCCA NEDiv National race was held at Summit Point Raceway with competitors coming in from all over the NorthEast and Mid-Atlantic areas.
I helped crew with the Tiger Race Team, as did Doug N & Jesse W.
This year the team still has the 90 Camaro in the A/Sedan class, but new this season is the black on black Z06.
Here's the LINK to some of the pictures from Saturday & Sunday.

yea, it was down right cold this past weekend. We weren't sure how well the tires would perform. Second place finishes in both classes.

KeithO - I, too, belong to NASA. Several of us are going to caravan up to Watkins Glen for May 6th & 7th. try to join us. The info is found at the NASA NorthEast site.
The T/A in the picture was a participant in the National race.
Pictures of mine are found in the link in the sig.

Very cool! I have been trying to get people in my local autox clubs to go the the Watkins Glen HPDE, but I got no takers... I plan on going by myself... Problem is my posi is out!
As it stands right now, I still plan to go but with one of these options:
1) With the IROC burned up posi and all.
2) Have a 10-bolt swapped in (I can' t afford the 9-bolt parts)
3) Sell my IROC and 83 Monte SS and buy a 1998 or newer Z28 (LS1)
As I type this, I am sending a bunch of pictures to a potential buyer for the SS...
Wow. Once this gets closer, let's try to hook up.

No problem.
It looks like we'll be headed up US 15 thru Harrisburg and Williamsport. We can hook up someplace around the PA Turnpike.
