Purely stock they're capable of low 13's, That is if the driver is good enough and willing to rev up to 4000 > 6000 rpms and throw it into 1st gear and risking the drivetrain taking a dump.
And with various basic mods, he's in the 12's.
Taking the more careful way though, expect high 13's and low 14's

Expect a high 13 from him. They usually are somewhat modded and that can put them deep into the 13s and 12s, so watch out. That is one of the few imports that I will give respect too.

this guy at my track has a VR4, actually its a 91' with a transplanted 98' engine (the previous owner blew the engine, so a newer one was installed). he ran a best time of 13.8

Seen one at the track, only a 1/8 mile, a few weeks ago. He was well on his way to a sub 8 second run when he dumped 3rd gear out of the tranny. He ran like a 8.8 at 45mph, and was a couple of lengths in front of a bud's 8.0 sec 5.0. So modded they can be real quick.

325HP only gets them to 13.8's??

don't forget that the all-wheel drive and steering puts them just over 3700lbs

I drove one and they are pretty quick. Expect a 13.8 - 14.1 IF he can race it. There is a difference between driving one and racing one. BUt one thing is for sure that the AWD will kill you off the line.

I drove one for about a month when I sold used cars. It was a 91 VR4 Twin Turbo with an HKS kit. It was quick but it didnt really feel any faster than my Formula. I've seen published times from the high13's to the low 14's. A well modded 3rd gen is a good match for one. (I also destroyed a Stealth Twin Turbo with my dads 97 Formula 6spd)
