i went to the strip b4 i did any mods to my car........i ran a 15.9 and a 60' time of about 2.2 or so


since then i have put on a hooker catback exhaust
K&N air filter
free mod to my carb to make the secondaries to open faster
and did a tune up....the car didnt have a tune up for about 3 or 4 years b4 i did it

the timing is still off becuz the timing tab is under the pulley(found it when i was replacing the water pump )

oh yah....and new tires


do you think i should b able to hit mid 15's or so??

oh and one more thing....the last time i raced my car bogged some becuz it was running like 220+.....so i think that hurt my time some

 

should get a 15.5 easy and 220 is a bit high of a temp to drag, i usually run mine when the needle has barely moved

hahah gotta love these little face things
but im gonna flush my radiator cuz im sure its been a while since that has been done to it....and also im gonna try and get some way so i can turn on the fan at any time so i can get the engine nice and cool right b4 i race

but i hope i will hit 15.5.....i think i woulda done better than 15.9 last time if it wouldnt have been for that stupid bog!
