Late model GTA wing and high speeds

Late model GTA wing and high speeds
I'm switching combos and looking forward to higher mph.
Last year I did a best of 148mph in the 1/4.
On that pass, it felt like the back was lifting, meaning that maybe I don't have enough down force from the wing.
Is anyone else using a stock GTA wing and high speeds?
My goal is 160+ eventually.
I'm not really keen on going to an aftermarket wing...

If you look beneath the wing there is a pocket that is most likely trapping air and causing lift. The 85-90 wings were based on the design used by Dennis and Kyle Mecham when they raced in SCCA. That design was reported to provide around 200 lbs of down force at speed.

148! wow. ya, that 85-90 wing probably weighs 200 lbs! Seems the car would be more stream lined w/ no wing at all.
