Drag week 2022
Results are a little slow being posted on the official pages. I've also been watching the insane work Steve Morris does to keep his engines running on youtube.
Just wanted to keep everyone informed on what third gens are running this year according to the results.
Day 1
Super Street small block - PS
Jason Moore 9.224 - 143.19
Super Street small block - NA
Bobby Ricci 10.672 - 124.17
Michael Sweet 10.746 - 128.24
Andrew Taylor 11.158 122.76
Steven Philips 12.244 - 116.56
Street Machine Eliminator
Jeremy Heizer 10.907 - 135.01
Nicholas Lutomski 13.795 - 105.68
That's it. 7 third gens in this years competition. Hope they can all make passes on the last day.

Re: Drag week 2022
Thanks. Missed that one. He's been added to the list.
So after 3 days of racing, the unlimited guys have been spending oodles of money to keep their cars running. Every time I watch one of their daily videos, I just keep saying WOW! From Tom Bailey's engine getting stripped down to replace pistons every day to Blastphemi trying to replace an engine in the pits.
As for the third gens, after 3 days of racing, Jason Moore is the only third gen eliminated as he only made it through day 2 with no time on day 3.

Re: Drag week 2022
I'm Steve, and I have the White 89 Formula and we clicked off an 11.97 @ 115. First 11 second pass for the car.
Quick run down, Pontiac 400, Magnum T56, Strange S60, and 411 ecm running the show.
And my buddy and I are in Street Race Small Block NA. Super street is less restrictive and power adder. If I were to move up a class, it would be All Motor Small Block. Don't know if that makes sense but it's the way the classes are layed out. Just FYI

Re: Drag week 2022
Well Tom Bailey was able to get a pass in before day 5 was called for rain. All racers totals are from day 4 results. Bailey ran a 6.05 at 244 MPH on the last day which is amazing when you see what they had to do during the week just to get to that last day.
Good to see a TGO member competing!
Not as many DNFs as in previous years. Only the single third gen failed to make it to the end of the week. Good work to all the others who managed to finish the event.
Quickest third gen to finish the event was Bobby Ricci with a 4 day average of 10.562 at 126.69 mph

Re: Drag week 2022
I was in Madison today until the rain ruined things. I managed to snap a few pictures of 3rdgens.
