28x10x16 Hoosier Slicks Questions

Im looking at a set of 28x10r16 Hoosier slicks and I was wondering if they will fit with a stock 16x8 Trans Am wheel? I'm expecting to have to pound the inner fenders but I'm wondering if anyone has fitted these tires without any pounding. I would like to keep the modifications to a bare minimum for an original look. The Wheels are 16x8 with 16mm offset and 5in of backspacing I believe, is this correct?
