could I hit 13.5 with this stuff?

a 350 with about 300 hp (keep tbi), shift kit in the 700r4, 3.42 posi, fiber glass hood, lost 100 pounds, and some good suspension (sfc, etc....) if not, I guess good bye rs, I'll use the 2500 to buy a lt1 6 speed.

why not? all it would take is a little hook. and as long as the car ran close to 100mph it woudl go a 13.5. which wiould be pretty easy with some minor weight loss like he is plannign to do.
think of it this way, stock L98 rated at 245hp runs 14.3-14.0 at about 95mph. that woudl be about how much power he would have at the rear wheels.
now add to that the weight loss(100lbs = 1 tenth or 1 mph basically), shift kit(that is anopther tenth or so) and suspension(worth prolly 1-2 tenths in the 60's which will nearly triple down track=3-5 tenths). that certainly pouts the car in the range of running a 13.5.
the only thing that may prevent it is a slight lack of top end power to pull the full 100mph. but a little more gear, like 3.73's could make up for that.
just my opinion, but i thin kit can be done.

later
