600 hp in the quarter mile
anyone have that kinda power and a time slip? That's about what my new motor will be putting out and about 700 ft-lbs of torque. Any guesses on my E.T. ?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Assuming your car is 3500 pounds and the tranny or diff don't explode, it should run mid 10's at 130 mph. That is providing you can actually get the power to the ground. With no traction it could only run 12's.

Geez man what's done to that motor, or what IS it? Big block, stroker, NOS, boosted? Yeah if you get it to the ground and launch it without blowing up the drivetrain thats a 10 second car.

It's a 350 bored 60 over, 10.5-1 compression, comp cams nitrous cam,victor heads,victor manifold,750cfm edelbrock,and 2 stage nitrous(200hp).

I've got approximately 650 Hp and 700 ft-lb but I haven't run it yet. My guess is you'll get to mid 11s. Your power will be staged at certain moments in your run and not continuously there. You won't have a 10 second run like someone making that kind of power naturally. Plus you're so dependent upon your nitrous your times could be anywhere between 13s and 11s. Good luck at the track!
