How much does your car weigh? For a car that weighs around 3300lbs I would say around 300hp.

figure you need to be right aroudn the 100mph mark to run 13.5's easily(less with good traction) and the average 3rd gen weighs in between 3300-3500lbs with driver. that means it woudl mathematically take about 250-275hp at the wheels to get the jobs done.
when i say "good hook" i mena you need at least a 2.0 60' time to run a 13.5 at 100mph, with good traction you could easily see a high 1.8 60' time and run in the high 13.2's.
the thing to remeber is that ET's are more about gearing and traction than absolute horse power.

I ran some 13.7s and consistant 13.8-13.9s at 99-101 mph.
The car had 3.73 gears, A4, around 3500 race weight, and 2.05-2.1x 60 ft. times. With some drag radials it would have hit mid 13s.
The engine should have had around 300 hp.
Hope this helps.

I would think anywhere from 300-350 HP depending on your gear, tires, and how well you hook.

I would say 350. In my car, with 3.08 gears, no posi, trash Yokohama A540's, and hardly any traction, I was running about 13.8's consistently, now, with the mods in my sig. I'm running about 13.4's, haven't g-teched or had time to take it to the track yet. I think with the posi and 3.42's I've got on the way I should be running near 13.0, like 13.1 or 13.2 oh yeah, I think Im right at 350 hp right now, so..... Like the other guys said though, it all depends on how your car is setup, it may run alot faster, or dog slower than mine or anyone elses car, it all depends.

all depends on traction,,my best et is a 13.70@101 on a 2,16 60,blistering the tires, best MPH is a 13.82@102.7 on a 2,19 60.Car is approx 3550 with driver so its probly 260-270 rwhp and around 300-310 fwhp.If it would hook better ets would drop a bunch
