Those ET calculators assume he knows HP. He'd also need to weigh the car. "Gutted interior" isn't enough info to derive an accurate weight. There's simply not enough info to estimate ET from the info given which is why I said "if it's put together and tuned well".

I don't think that's enough gear to go 6.80, I would say more like 7.30 with that said, I hope you do go 6.80 that would be cool, good luck

Plenty of gear. My car has been a best of 6.76 with a 3.73. Averages around 6.80 in the heat. My setup is also milder than the OP's (less compression, smaller carb, smaller cam, dual plane intake, 3500 stall, etc.)

Those calculators are guestaments, this car ran 7.60 on 7 cylinders, lifter chewed in half, and a 355 motorwith stock rods and crank, im hoping a 6.90 is my number, consistency is everything in bracket racing, if it runs 7.01 all day then im happy, ive turned this motor to 8500 on the stands, bottom end was assembled by local speed shop, everything is within tolerence, really wanting a 4.56 or 4.88 gear, more upgrades coming in time, I will post ET`s next week, race on Sunday,

Thanks. It runs pretty much dead on what it should for power and weight. It made a tick over 500 on our engine dyno. It's all about the combo. It's always funny when some random guy offers his advice which is typically for a Victor intake or bigger carb, etc. Usually comes from someone with a similar setup, is slower and can't figure out why their junk runs 12's.
