Re: ray jr at SGMP
I was tuned in also for a lot of the action. Well done program I thought.
Looked good Ray. The numbers ran are insane by some of these cars out now. I had a hard time hooking 800hp on a 275/60. I never got better than 1.41 60ft. These guys are going low 1.1X.. Crazy.

car was looking great ray! caught the last round you made it to.
it's neat to see how widespread this coverage has become. if you watched and enjoyed the coverage, shoot my dad an email to give him a thumbsup! editor@dragstory.com

no matter on the tire rub, i just saw it and was curius. i still think you did that car perfectly.... with the iroc decals and everything else. its exactly how i would have done it.
matt, your dad is the man. i would love to see you guys expand maybe, and cover some other not so important stuff.... just having a camera at a random track and audio with their announcer would be awesome to me. i would turn it on anytime im out in the shop. just hearing the cars running motivates me. lol

Re: ray jr at SGMP
they're at 31 events this year. here's the schedule of events:
http://motormaniatv.com/?page_id=438
they're at Montgomery this weekend covering Triple 7's, then at Memphis next week for $25K Showdown, then at the end of the month they're in Gainesville for the Gator National Diesel Drags.
some of it is heads up, some is bracket stuff, but it'll all be great coverage, i can assure you that. i'd love to be more involved, but i have $60K invested in an applied mathematics education, and intend to use it for some time before anything else.

you're on the right track with the education. its nearly impossible to go back to that later on in life.
ray, you should post up some more pics/updates of your car.

Re: ray jr at SGMP
i dunno...that's an interesting thought...i'll bring it up to my dad...not sure on the logistics, i know it takes quite a bit of power to do the events they do at the quality they do them at....it's pretty impressive...they have a huge satellite on the top of the coach just for streaming.
